Students from various academic backgrounds can gain work experience with an international organization through the internship program offered by the OPEC Fund. Applications are now being accepted for internships with the OPEC Fund in 2023. Successful candidates will receive sponsorships to travel to Austria for this round of internships.
The OPEC Fund Internship Program provides opportunities to concentrate on one or more of the following areas: operations in the public sector, operations in the private sector and trade finance, grants, financial operations, risk management, strategic planning and economic services, internal audit, human resources, administration, communication, legal services, and information technology.
The OPEC Fund for International Development is a company or organization.
Opportunities for internships are a program type.
Vienna, Austria is the program’s location.
Three to six months for the program.

Students and recent graduates meet the minimum qualifications.

OPEC Fund International Internships Eligibility Guidelines 2023.
The age range for applicants is 19 to 25 years old, and they must be enrolled in either a graduate program or an undergraduate program with at least two years under their belt. Alternatively, candidates may be recent graduates who graduated no more than a year ago from their field of study.
Additionally, candidates should be:
English language proficiency. the capability of speaking another language (e. g. Arabic, French, and Spanish are advantages;.
Computer literate with familiarity with common software (such as Microsoft Office).
Keen interest in the OPEC Fund’s work;.
Able to show cultural awareness; and.
Able to exhibit the core values of the OPEC Fund (Integrity, Empowerment, Excellence, Innovation, Community).

The applicant is or was an undergraduate student.
A copy of their most recent transcript from college, which should include their cumulative GPA or an equivalent; and.
A brief essay in English (between 150 and 250 words) outlining the applicant’s reasons for applying.
