Detailed description of the scholarship

 

With the support of the UKRI Centre, King’s College and Imperial College London have announced Fully-funded International PhD Studentships for overseas students.

Twelve fully-funded PhD programmes are available to all eligible students beginning their PhDs in 2022-2023. This King’s College London International Studentship is open to both home and international students.

King’s College is a member of the top ten universities in the United Kingdom and a public research institution located in the heart of London. It is England’s oldest university, offering world-class education and cutting-edge research.

The Scholarship Program

Students who achieve high academic distinction will be eligible to apply for the King’s College London International Studentship for the academic year 2022/2023.

Criteria for The Scholarship

  • The King’s College London International Studentship is open to students of all nationalities.
  • Courses or subjects that are acceptable include Telecommunications, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Informatics, Electronic Engineering, and Computer Science.
  • The applicants must hold a master’s degree from an accredited university in order to be eligible.
  • Plan to begin a PhD program as soon as possible.

    • Applicants must first apply to king’s college London for postgraduate research study in order to participate. Following that, applicants can submit an online application.
    • Two academic references, a copy of your transcript, and proof of your English language proficiency are required as supporting documents.
    • To apply, students must meet all King’s College of London entry requirements.
    • For PGR applications, you must have a good command of English and be able to apply it in an academic environment. Therefore, those who have not been educated in English will usually be required to provide certificated proof of competence in the English language before starting their studies. Applicants should have an IELTS Score of 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each skill, or a TOEFL iBT score of 92 overall with a minimum of 23 in writing and 20 in each of the other skills.
