Education USA Opportunity Funds Program (OFP) for Nigerian Youths is a 2021 project financed by US Embassy Education USA.

The EducationUSA Opportunity Funds Program (OFP) – There are many low-income students in Nigeria with ability and determination who only need financial resources and access to information to better their educational future. Currently, the Embassy of the United States in Nigeria seeks to identify academically qualified, low-income students who are highly motivated and have a strong academic history to join the U.S. Academic Opportunity Funds Program (OFP).

Our mission is to assist low-income students who have a strong academic background and deserve financial assistance but lack the resources to cover the cost of obtaining admission to U.S. colleges and universities.

Students are assisted by OFP through regularly scheduled meetings and seminars to help them secure admission and scholarships for colleges and universities in the United States. OFP finances the cost of the application process, including registration fees for required standardized examinations, and provides free membership to the U.S. EducationUSA Advising Center for its participants. The OFP expects students to commit themselves to the program to achieve their goals of studying in the United States.
